Helping Hands and Healing Hearts - Our Sanctuary and Rescue Mission

Many of the horses we have come across in our work have found their way to us out of trying circumstances. With the help of some loving hands of our friends and community, they have been guided to their forever home in the golden pastures of GoldStar Stables.  Whether the horse was headed towards a kill pen, simply too much for an earnest owner, or needing a safe place to retire, it is a well-known fact that Mollie of GoldStar Stables will not let a horse go uncared for.

Regardless of the horse's past or medical issues, rehabilitation with the proper care, nutrition and love are the top priority.  Horses and ponies alike have passed through these gates with a variety of issues, only to find them months later, surpassing what anyone previously thought they were capable of. Horses that were never to run again, now galloping freely with new friends.

Mollie Hines

GoldStar opened its doors in 2014.

Currently, Goldstar operates as a non-profit organization with Mollie Hines as Board Chair.  Mollie can be found on property most days between 7:30am and until the last horses have been fed and turned out or put into stalls for the evening or during storms.  Mollie moved her life to Farmersville area to be closer to her purpose, caring for the horse, staff, and volunteers who operate GoldStar.
